Kellie M. Martin is an American actor and actress in the film and television industries. Her most well-known role is for her role as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. Her other notable roles include being the main character in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin is born to a department store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her career as an actress at age seven when her aunt, who was a nanny to Michael Landon's children assisted Martin to get her a character in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". After she graduated from Yale University in 1982, Martin took her acting career more seriously. She was able to land important roles on television as well as big screens.
