Kyra Miniturn Sedgwick is a popular American actor on film and TV for a long time. Her name is well-known across the globe but especially in America. Sedgwick was a fan of performing, acting, and Broadway from the age of twelve years old. Sedgwick was introduced to Broadway through her mother who was a Broadway fanatic. Sedgwick's debut acting gig was in a television show known as 'AnotherWorld. The show was on when she was sixteen years old. She went on to do small time roles in the show, but it was the thought of becoming a big actress that attracted her. Sedgwick became a household name on American television for her outstanding performance on "The Closer" which was a seven-season television series which won her the Golden Globe Award and Emmy.
